Filtration Efficiency
POREX Macroflow PE Tubes are classification type filters that effectively remove particles at and above their respective ratings while allowing most smaller particles to pass through. POREX Macroflow PE Tubes maintain their high particle removal efficiency for consistent, reproducible results throughout the life of the filter. Filter performance is often expressed in terms of percent efficiency, defined as the ratio of upstream particle concentration compared to the downstream concentration that has passed through a filter body (multiplied by 100).
